Graz had a tropical night. The lowest temperature recorded was 21.5 degrees Celsius – the lowest summer temperature in 128 years. The current records fit very well into the pattern of climate change – our topic –  this month about hot cities, particularly about the hot city of Graz. For the ninth episode of the Unpolluted On Air podcast, produced by Radio Helsinki, Mirza, Nicolas and Gea researched the field, Hannah interviewed Florian Ungerböck from Auto-frei-tag, Benedikt edited it. We unwrap our thoughts about the hot city and then we serve you some researched facts about the innovative urban photo-bioreactor, community gardening and other challenges of re-greening the city of Graz.
